2025-2026 TRYOUTS

Round 1 - Video Submission Deadline March 9th

Round 2 - In-Person Tryouts April 18th and 19th

Video Submission Deadline:  March 9th, 2025

Each applicant should submit (1) video highlighting their cheerleading skills.  This should include jumps, stunts, tumbling, and showmanship.  To ease the demands of this process, skills can be taken from competitions or game videos that you already possess.  When using performance videos, please be sure to clearly identify yourself as the correct athlete for us to follow.

 VIDEO TRYOUT REQUIREMENTS

Videos will not be viewed until the registration form is completed and submited with the tryout fee.  Please use videos from the past nine months, that include skills that you can still complete on dead mat.  We will require demonstrations of these skills during the in-person portion of the tryout. All videos must be submitted along with the registration form and tryout fees by 3/9/2025.

Jumps:
One (1) Single Jump (your best jump)

Three (3) Jump Combo (must have variety; i.e. hurdler double toe)

Tumbling:
Tumbling is MANDATORY to be part of the program!

Highest Standing Tumbling 
(Standing Back Handspring (BHS), Toe Touch BHS, Standing Tuck, Toe Touch Tuck, Multiple BHS, Multiple BHS to Tuck or Higher)

Highest Running Tumbling Pass
(two or more consecutive back handsprings; Tuck or higher preferred)

Specialty Tumbling Pass
(punch fronts, whips, arabians, etc.)

Stunting:
Applicants should make it known what position they are stunting in and should showcase sound techniques and execution.  If an applicant can stunt in multiple positions, please include examples of this in the clips as well. Stunting should include your most difficult skills.  Straight up skills are accepted. Different Body Positions (basing or flying), spinning, switch ups, and inversion skills are preferred. ​​

Cheer/Motions/Dance:
One (1) Cheer using Morgan, Bears, Orange, Blue, and/or White.
 

At least three (3-4) 8-counts of a Dance (w/appropriate music)

 

Round 2 - Those selected after the video evaluation will be invited to attend Round 2 of the process, which is the In-Person Tryout.  If chosen to proceed, you will receive an invitation on or before 3/16/2025.
